The church of Saint-Pierre was built at Mont-Dol during the second half of the twelfth century. Significantly restored and transformed in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, it was listed in the supplementary inventory of historical monuments by decree of 12 February 19711. The interior presents a set of medieval frescoes classified among the most important of Ille-et-Vilaine.
