The Explorers
The non-forests landscapes of the Cap Corse peninsula have a special ecologic system. Here, recurring fires, bare soil erosion, and grazing maintain open environments. Nonetheless, 25 plant species are recorded on the ridges. The Lesser Horseshoe Bat, which is the smallest European bat, and the Fitzinger lizard have chosen the area to breed.
