For the past few years, Benoît Marguet has embodied one of the most dazzling success stories of the Champagne region. In 1875, Emile Marguet planted the family’s first vineyard. Five generations later, Benoît is committed to biodynamic farming: the estate has been Demeter certified since 2013. He also uses phytotherapy (infusion and decoction of medicinal plants) and aromatherapy (essential oils) to treat the vines. Since 2010, the lands of the Marguet estate are tilled with the help of a draught horse: this is the condition for a social and spiritual balance in the vineyards.
