Dry season surveys underway
1
0
Despite the challenges associated with COVID-19, the team in Jamaica has completed all crocodile surveys for the wet season. This involved 25 surveys across 29 known crocodile habitats with the help and collaboration of local entities, such as Urban Development Corporation, Caribbean Coastal Area Management Foundation, Holland Bay Crocodile Sanctuary, community members and local biologists. The dry season surveys are now underway, with 5 completed so far across 7 known crocodile habitats.
