Dry and rainy seasons
0
0
Located in the southern hemisphere, South Africa knows two main seasons : a hot and humid summer (from November to March) and a dry and cooler winter (from April to October).
During the dry season, it is usually easier to observe the big African animals, included the big five, because the less abundant vegetation gives much more visibility. In the rainy season, the more luxurious vegetation and the spread of insects species provide goo habitats for many migratory bird species.
