Originally designed to participate and integrate into the Coucou Bazar show, this sculpture was excluded from it by Jean Dubuffet. The work evokes the baroque enterprise that was this “animated painting” presented at the Guggenheim in New York then at the Grand Palais in Paris in 1973. In sheet metal painted with polyurethane, this three-dimensional enlargement of the drawn figures of Dubuffet belongs by its style cellular language, characteristic of this period of the artist.
