The municipality of Dole, in the Jura department, has chosen to invest in the heart of its city - an essential element of the city’s influence - by redeveloping its public space and renovating its streets and squares. Since 2016, the city has increased its pedestrian surfaces, expanded its spaces, enhanced its facades and developed convivial areas - like this one - on its squares and terraces. The cost of all these renovations amounting to € 3,400,000 has been subsidized at 40% by the European Union and the State.
