Pierre Daniel breeds around twenty sled dogs on his Les Bois Fous estate in Septmoncel-les-Molunes. The number of dogs he harnesses varies depending on the breed used and the type of outing. For long distance rides, the teams are commonly made up of at least ten dogs. Sprint races typically have a minimum of two to nine dogs, ski joering one or two dogs, and pulka up to three dogs.
