Dog kicksledding on frozen Lake Pavin

Dog kicksledding is theoretically limited to sledding tracks or to free sports areas of ski resorts, but the frozen surface of Lake Pavin, in the Sancy massif, is very well adapted to it. Towed by a dog, the snow skate glides perfectly on the frozen lake, which offers a vast, completely flat area with no stones likely to throw the team off-balance. But beware of the sharp turns which can be difficult to negotiate at high speed, at the risk of tipping over.
