Mélanie Pfister’s vineyard covers 10 hectares divided into forty or so plots, all located around the village of Dahlenheim, in Alsace. The estate works on clay-limestone terroirs such as Silberberg or the Grand Cru Engelberg. Mélanie invests all her attention in maintaining the soil. In the cellar, the estate has more than 50 thermo-regulated vats that allow each terroir to be vinified without mixing the grape varieties. Mélanie Pfister applies the principles of sustainable agriculture to produce biodynamic wines of excellent quality.
