The village of Saint-Jeannet in the Alpes-Maritimes department can be explored on foot and is divided into two distinct parts. The lower town is massed around the Queirard district, while an upper town rises from the Saint-Jean-Baptiste parish church towards the baou. The lower and oldest part of Saint-Jeannet extends below the perimeter wall that once surrounded the upper town.
