Discovery from the Orne river

In the heart of the Norman Switzerland, the Orne is a calm river ideal for an introduction to canoeing. The Thury-Harcourt Kayak Club organizes canoe-kayak and stand-up paddle discovery and initiation sessions all year round. From the beach of Clécy, the Club Beau Rivage also offers descents of 4,5 to 17 miles (7 to 28 km) amid nature between Pont-d'Ouilly and Thury-Harcourt. These activities allow discovering the Calvados department from the banks of the Orne.
