Sexual dimorphism of weavers

During the breeding season, sexual dimorphism is well marked in weavers. The male has two dominant colors, the black of the head and the yellow of the body. The female is smaller and duller than the male, her back is grey-brown. The immature and the non-breeding male resemble the female.
