One thousand nine hundred and sixty-eight feet (600 m) long, the sea wall of the port of Nice protects the entrance to the old port and the Admirals basin as well as to the Commerce basin and the ferry terminal. Composed over its consolidations and extensions of boulders punctually reinforced with concrete cubic and accropod blocks, it is anchored on the Infernet quay at the height of the Admirals basin. The square lighthouse erected at the end of its freestone shelter wall signals the entrance pass to the port.
