Dexterity of the Kuhl's Lorikeet
0
0
The Kuhl's Lorikeet uses its beak for feeding but also for cleaning, feather smoothing or claw cutting. It is also an effective defense weapon and serves as a third leg when the Kuhl's Lorikeet needs to move through foliages without being able to fly. Its great dexterity also enables it to use its legs to scratch, to maintain its feathers or to clean its beak.
