Two beaches differentiated by their attendance

Grande Terre des Salines beach in the south of Martinique is the neighboring beach to Grande Anse des Salines, better known as Salines Beach and visible in the background. Separated only by the cape of Pointe des Salines, which limits Salines beach to the east and Grande Terre des Salines beach to the west, these two long stretches of clear sand are differentiated by their attendance. If the first is very touristy, the second is almost deserted. Two reasons explain this phenomenon: the more difficult access to the beach of Grande Terre des Salines at the end of a track in fairly poor condition and the absence on this beach of shaded natural or developed areas.
