On Monday and Thursday mornings, the covered market of Mirepoix houses numerous stalls. The building also hosts multiple events such as garage sales, book fairs, exhibitions, concerts, flea markets, or Christmas markets. While it has lost its grain measures over time, the site has retained a cast iron and metal silhouette reminiscent of Parisian market halls. The floor of Mirepoix's covered market was redone in 1990 in Pyrenean marble, a typical Languedoc material.
