The village of Saint-Saturnin-lès-Apt has 1,470 acres (595 ha) of vines that represent 7.8% of its territory. The vineyard extending near Saint-Étienne Church largely benefits from the annual 2,597 hours of sunshine recorded in the village, much higher than the 1,900 hours of the national average. The locality has the authorization to produce wines of the Vaucluse and Mediterranean designations - two IGP (Protected Geographical Indication ) European labels - as well as Ventoux, a French AOC (Controlled Designation of Origin) label and a European AOP (Protected Designation of Origin) label.
