Vines facing the Golden Islands

The 104 acres (42 ha) of vines of Brégançon Castle extend on the shores of the Mediterranean sea on a listed site overlooking the harbor of Hyères and facing the Golden Islands. They are part of the 865 acres (350 ha) of land, mostly covered with forests, owned by the Sabran-Tézenas family. The vines of Brégançon Castle grow on siliceous clay soil that benefits from a microclimate and humid sea winds.
