Well-kept rows of vines

Located on hills detached from the Vosges mountains, Mélanie Pfister’s land is strewn with rows of well-kept vines. Mélanie perpetuates the tradition of her family, all of whom have been winegrowers since 1780. She cultivates about forty parcels, in which she does not mix the grapes, so as to produce different, racy and sometimes surprising wines. Each of the wines has a name, which indicates its origin and character. Elegant and well-balanced, they are gourmet wines. When she is not in her vineyards, Mélanie also manages the DiVINes d’Alsace association, which brings together some fifty female winemakers in the region.
