Termite mounds and dens
0
0
In the bush, many animal species use non active termite mounds as a den. Some species, such as aardvarks, dig a hole to eat termites. Then, this hole is enlarged by other species such as birds, reptiles, small mammals or even warthogs and jackals. Bigger mammals, like hyenas or leopards, can establish their den inside or use it for a while.
