The Fondation Louis Vuitton's restaurant presents a sculpture made of fish called the Fish Lamp and designed by Frank Gehry, the architect of the building. The theme of fish is recurring in his works, and his first Fish Lamp dates from 1983. He uses formica in the form of scales on metal frames. The very structure of the material gives a changeable aspect to the interior light. Frank Gehry renewed the experience in 2012 by creating the Parisian foundation's fish swarm.
