The region of the Combe de Laisia in Septmoncel les Molunes, where the musher Pierre Daniel settled, is nicknamed Little Canada. In winter, the Hautes Combes of Jura offer all kinds of Nordic activities in numerous resorts. Outings with Pierre Daniel's sled dogs offer direct contact with the landscapes of Jura to those looking for authenticity. Usually driven on the sled, visitors can sometimes try their hand at leading a team of huskies.
