The Comtois horse's feet at the base of all the traction work
0

The Comtois draft horses' feet are particularly stressed since they support all the weight of their body increased by the loads they tow and must absorb all the shocks. They are therefore the subject of constant care (shoeing, trimming, greasing ...) all the more important as the specific forces of the traction work - in particular on hard and asphalted urban roads - can cause the wear of the hoof horn faster than its growth.
