Easy-to-make terracotta figures
1
0
Acrylic paint, varnish, electric wire, corks, string, a little imagination, and patience are all it takes to turn terracotta pots into playful characters who surprise passers-by in Castellar while serving as jardinieres. Once drilled for assembly, the pot of the head is worked open at the top and that of the bust at the bottom. Like the smaller pots that would feature the arms and feet, they are painted, decorated, and varnished to resist bad weather and then connected with wire fixed with cork pieces and glue.
