The missions of the maritime patrols are versatile and require boats adapted to the geographical, climatic, and geopolitical context of the territory in which they intervene. They include functions as varied as fishery and navigation police, environmental surveillance and fight against pollution, suppression of illicit trafficking, regulation of immigration, or search and rescue at sea. The Explorers' photographers team had the opportunity to take place aboard a zodiac of the maritime patrol in the Calanques National Park of Marseille.
