Dedicated harnesses

0
Before each sled ride, Pierre Daniel prepares the harnesses for his dogs. A ritualized object, the harness represents for them both a type of outing and the state of mind - that is to say the will to go - that it is advisable to adopt. To keep this will intact and facilitate the understanding of the expected behavior, some mushers use dedicated harnesses for each activity. For example, they reserve certain harnesses for canine traction training and others for leisurely rides.
