Flowers on the granite

According to legend, the granite rock of Mont Tombe did indeed tower over a dense forest, which covered the present-day bay. In 708, a tremendous tidal wave and an earthquake are said to have wiped out the forest. The Mont is said to have become a desolate rock in the middle of a bay of sands swept by the sea at every tide. Nature always finds a mysterious path: the surrounding grasslands do indeed have halophilic plants, so why not flowers on granite?
