The brick used in the construction of the original stables of the Haras National du Pin, as here Stable n°2 that borders the main courtyard, has all the sanitary but also insulation, resistance, and durability qualities necessary for stables. Made from molded and kiln-fired clay, brick does not contain any products harmful for horses and is highly resistant to fires. A true thermal regulator, it retains heat in winter and coolness in summer and, thanks to its porosity, has great hygrometric advantages. By absorbing condensation and any mold, it limits humidity in the stables and ensures good-quality ambient air.
