Horses with primitive marks
0
0
Przewalski horses present several primitive marks that form peculiarities on their coat. These very localized marks of dark or light color are due to the dun gene. The most notable is the mullet ray, a dark line that crosses Przewalski horses' spine lengthwise and is clearly visible when looking at the animals from behind.
