Throughout the Camargue race, the president announces the bids placed on the attributes in play. He starts with the cockade, followed by the tassels and, finally, the strings, the most difficult to catch. The bids can originate from individual sponsorships, the most common, but also institutional ones. By announcing the increase of the bonuses, the president motivates the raseteurs to catch the attributes. The spacing of the announcements also allows the bull to rest for a while.
