The coat of arms of Collobrières in the Var department was deposited in Toulon in 1696, in accordance with a royal edict of 1693. It evokes the natural environment of the village located in the heart of the chestnut groves of the Maures Massif in a bend of the Réal Collobrier river, rich in water snakes. The coat of arms indeed depicts a silver chestnut tree accosted by two twisted snakes on an azure background. The name of the village, derived from a distortion of the Latin word collubreira (snake), appears in red capital letters on a gold background.
