The archives of the Hôtel-Dieu of Beaune are kept in situ in a room of the Hôtel-Dieu museum that has neither a consultation space nor a permanent archivist. The hospital Sisters of the Saint-Martha community of Beaune wished, for their part, that their archives be open to as many people as possible, considering that their history was also that of the people of Beaune and of anyone interested in the evolution of assistance and health. For this reason, the records of their various congregations were deposited in the city's municipal archives through several stages. The archives of the community of the Hôtel-Dieu of Beaune have thus been there since January 2011.
