Shades of blue in the heart of Polynesia
3
0
The uninhabited atoll of Tupai, near Bora Bora, is famous for its heart shape. Seen from the sky, it is surrounded by different shades of blue linked to the depth and nature of the seabed. The blue is very clear when the depth is only a few centimeters and when the bottom is constituted of white sand, it darkens as the depth increases.
