While the Hôtel Dubocage de Bléville is one of the most renowned private properties in the Saint-François district of Le Havre, its exact dates of construction remain unknown. The building with a slate facade belonged to the navigator and merchant Michel Joseph Dubocage (1676-1727), and its left wing was built at the end of the 17th century. Now converted into a museum, the Hôtel Dubocage de Bléville hosts a permanent collection and temporary ones linked to the history of the city and to maritime trade.
