Heavy rains in southwestern Madagascar caused extensive damage to the Tortoises Village of Mangily. In particular, they destroyed part of the roof of the Village's exhibition and interpretation room, which was a major support for educating children, residents and visitors to the preservation of radiated turtles and their habitat. The team on site immediately mobilized to repair the damage caused.
