0
0
Mainly used in hitching where they are fixed on the bridle, blinkers are mandatory as soon as the hitching is multiple. They then allow increasing the concentration and listening of the horse prevented from seeing what is happening behind and next to him. They also protect his eyes from the wick of the whip as well as from friction with the guides and the other parts of the hitching (rings, panurges, etc). The use of blinkers is particularly important for the horses hitched in front of the car and for the track horses hitched at the head of the crew.
