Under the waters of Fakarava
3
0
The second largest atoll in French Polynesia, Fakarava is one of seven atolls listed as a biosphere reserve by UNESCO in 2006. The Garuae pass, the largest in the Tuamotus with 5249ft (1600m), is home to an extreme density of coral and pelagic fish. From ordinary fish schools to amazing groupings of Marbled Loaches, the underwater show is permanent.
