Located in the municipality of La Londe-les-Maures in the Var department, Clos Mireille of the Ott* estates produces exceptional cuvées with saline notes on a unique terroir bathed in sun and influenced by sea currents and prevailing winds. Listed in the Côtes-de-Provence designation like Château de Selle, another vineyard of the Ott* estates, Clos Mireille has 148 acres (60 ha) of vines planted on schist land and delimited by a fence. They were acquired by Marcel Ott, the great-grandfather of the current owners Christian and Jean-François Ott. The plots have never left the family, which manages its wine heritage by adapting its principles of respect for nature to the different terroirs and their specificities.
