The Metallurgic Park interpretation centre in Dommartin-le-Franc (Haute-Marne) carries on the foundry tradition that has existed in the Blaise valley since the 13th century. It offers visitors the opportunity to discover the secrets of both ancient and contemporary metallurgy. It is also a way of introducing future generations to these trades which still exist in the Haute-Marne. Several industrialists from the region participated in the creation of the Park and they exhibit, outside, some of their creations such as a windbreak made for the Millau viaduct or a part of the TGV.
