Bannock, muqpauraq in Inuktitut, is one of Canada's oldest native recipes, easy to prepare particularly during hunting expeditions in the Arctic tundra. It is a traditional flatbread generally made without leaven including main ingredients as flour, salt, animal fat and water or milk.
