Croix sans doute destinée à prendre place sur le jubé d’une église, réalisée par Giotto Di Bondone (et atelier) vers 1267 à Florence.
Au sommet de la croix, on trouve le Pélican, symbole fréquent du sacrifice du Christ. De part et d’autre du Christ crucifié, on peut voir Saint Jean l’évangéliste et la Vierge Marie.
Cette croix est conservée au Musée du Louvre.
