Giraffes' growth through their lifecycle
1
0
This photo shows three giraffes in different stages of life cycle. First of all, the calf is about four months old. At this age, it is already more than 7 ft (2 meters) high, still suckles its mother and starts to eat leaves. On its right, the medium sized, its mother is a young mature female that is approximately 14 ft (4 meters) high. Finally, the tallest one, with large and hairless horns, is at least a five meters male. In the wild, a giraffe may live up to 25 years old.
