El Cristo Bendicente levanta su brazo derecho en signo de bendición.
Este monumento tucumano es el cuarto más alto del mundo detrás del Cristo de la Concordia, en Cochabamba, Bolivia (38,20 metros); el Cristo Redentor, de Río de Janeiro (38 metros); y el Cristo del Otero, en España (30 metros). Inaugurado en 1942, la escultura se encuentra en la cima del cerro San Javier, en Yerba Buena (provincia de Tucumán) a 1286 msnm.
