The champagne vineyard was mainly created by the Benedictine abbeys of Saint-Pierre-aux-Monts, in Châlons-en-Champagne, and Saint-Pierre of Hautvillers. Four vast production areas bring together the seventeen champagne terroirs. In the cellars of Reims' mountain, the champagnes are recognized for their power, body, and nobility. The ground from which each one originates gives them a particular flavor, such as the Champagne Collet from Aÿ.
