The Redflower ragleaf (Crassocephalum crepidioide) is an invasive annual herb present in the tropics and subtropics. It is also a weed in the sugar cane or pineapple fields. Tufts of branched stems rise from its root up to 3.2ft (1m). Its fruits are oblong achenes. Its tender leaves and stems are used as vegetable and to treat indigestions, stomach troubles, recent wounds, headaches and nasal haemorrhages.
