0
In Corsica, the largest convent of the island is anchored on the slopes of the St. Ange Mount which overlooks the bay of L'Ile-Rousse. The Convent Saint-Dominique de Corbara was a place of detention of about 800 Austro-German civil prisoners between 1914 and 1920. It is registered in the inventory of historical monuments since 2011.
