Coussoules beach is ranked among the most beautiful beaches in France. It stretches over a length of almost 5 miles (8 km), between the sea and the La Palme pond. Its access is a well-kept secret that is passed on by word of mouth, and nature there is therefore particularly well preserved. Coussoules beach is located between the distant shadow of the cliffs of Leucate to the south and Port la Nouvelle to the north. A location classified Natura 2000, it is protected by the fact that it is part of the Regional Natural Park of Narbonnaise in the Mediterranean.
