Cotentin donkey - A breed suitable for harnessing and hiking
Brigitte Pieau settled with about twenty donkeys from the Cotentin to Carolles in the English Channel. These little donkeys known for their endurance and gentleness have always crisscrossed the paths of Normandy but they had become rarer. Brigitte thus helps to maintain their race and to make them better known to the general public. They are ideal for hiking on the paths of St Michel and their calm suits perfectly the hitch.
