The 'Leap of the Warrior' site, in the center of this photo, is located just a few kilometers from La Roche, the district capital which owes its name to the nearby coral rocks. 295ft (90m) high, they served as a refuge for the population during the wars of religion in 1869, 1880 and 1890 and have kept a special place in the hearts of the Mareans who nickname them 'Titi'.
